Psalm 1:1-2 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

This psalm is opposite of how I lived the majority of my life thus far. For 27 years I walked by the counsel of the ungodly. I attempted to stand in the way of sinners, neglecting to acknowledge my own sinful ways. I sat in the seat of the scornful, even though I disliked it very much. It was “normal” to me. Through repentance and acknowledgement of living every wrong way, I made the decision to delight in the Lord and in His law. I realize it is because of Him alone, anything good exists. The last 4 years I spent daily in His Word and am now adding night readings. It seems I have only been able to scratch the surface of His Majesty. I’m learning to rely on Him & know He has ordered my steps. The Word helps me stay focused on His path. I daily seem to drift in thought or deed, however His goodness and mercy remain, and will follow me all the days of my life, and for the generations to follow.

Thank You Jesus!
