Lord of Heavenly Hosts,

May we see Your kingdom here! You are the reconciler of broken families. By Your stripes we are healed! Knit our new hearts together in Your divine love. We look to You to awaken truth in every fiber of our being as we not only study Your Word, but proclaim it by faith. Increase our faith, as You are the Author and Finisher of it. You are the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end. Help us to number our days and seek Your kingdom first and Your righteousness. Let us always remember and remind the enemy, You work all things for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. May we be faithful in what You have called us too, individually and collectively. Thank You for being a patient teacher in showing us how to love, how to forgive, and how to guard our hearts. We need You and are so grateful, You are our ever present help and desire our greatest good for Your glory! Peacefully my eyes are fixed upon You! Amen.

Astonishingly Jesus

“And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all people were astonished at his doctrine.” Mark 11:18 KJV

The Spirit of truth and love, so contrary to a sinful people, yet so complete. The scribes and chief priests were so convicted knowing they had no righteousness within themselves and rather being humbled and seeking God, they wanted to destroy the very One who came to convict and to save. On the cross as He hung to die, He interceded on their behalf, saying, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34. Agape love and truth once again in His final moments, ever bridging the gap created by sin. Will you cross over from sin and death to life eternal and allow His blood to cleanse you from all sin? Will you bury the sinfulness of your past and the sinfulness of others by forgiving as He has? Will you allow His resurrection power to make you new this day? I hope so…
