Who we are, as faithful to Christ…

From Chapter 1 in the book of Ephesians.

As I search the Scriptures and learn to identify myself within God’s truth, I find so much revelation.

In verse 1 which says,

“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus,”

we are identified as having a purpose according to God’s will, whether it be an apostle, prophet, minister, teacher, or evangelist. (see 1 Cor 12:28) I pray you ask the Lord to reveal what vocation you are called to and receive His help in walking it out. We are saints, we are the church, a member of the Body of Christ. To what degree we are faithful to God is determined day by day largely to the degree in which we do not allow the cares of the world to distract and occupy us.

I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, this year 2018 be a year of faithfulness unto my Lord and Savior. Each day may I seek His face and allow His Holy Spirit to use me in bringing the Heavenly Father glory. May my life be a testament of His truth, grace, and resurrection power. May I receive greater revelation and clearly share what the Lord makes known. May my life be of one of speaking truth in love and proclaiming the gospel which sets the captives free. I thank You Lord for going before me and aiding me in all You’ve commissioned me to do. Thank You the victory has been won! You have conquered hell and command Your Kingdom here. Let it be so, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
