New Year, New Life in Christ…

Uncategorized Add comments

Every year begins with new hopes, new goals, new vision, yet what often happens, expectations go unmet, disappointments set in, and discouragement takes root.

Who are we expecting to receive from, and what is it we are hoping?

What are we planning for! Who will help us, guide us and hold us accountable?

What do we seriously contemplate our selves to be doing this year, for ourselves, for others, but most importantly, for the Lord?

My expectation alone, is of Him. What He says goes and what He allows, grows me into the new creation He shapes and fashions.

I have come to accept this through many hardships and trials, some of my own making, and through it all I have realized, apart from Him I can do nothing. See John 15:5. I know good intentions apart from Christ are just that: intentions that are good. Most likely from a place of pride, or my flesh has some stake in the prospective outcome, or is based on some worldly principle.

I know for 2018, Jesus Christ must be my world, because without Him, nothing good exists. He has shown and continues to shine into my darkness beckoning me to leave all that’s less than love behind.

My expectation is of Him alone.

May every hurting heart desiring to be healed, be made whole.

Let my eyes be ever fixed on the transformations abounding in and because of Christ’s birth, death, and resurrection.

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19

I pray you start your new year By allowing Jesus to be Your way, Your Eternal Living Water…Your all in all. He thinks so much of you, He gave His very life to make the way for your eternity to be forgiven and free…

Hallelujah to the Giver of the Greatest Gift!
